Bhutan Men’s National Team Holds Final Team Meeting Ahead of ACC Men’s Challenger Cup 2026.

Ahead of their departure to Singapore tomorrow, the Bhutan Men’s National Cricket Team held its final team meeting as preparations conclude for the ACC Men’s Challenger Cup 2026.

The meeting brought together players, coaches, support staff, and management to reflect on the journey leading up to the tournament and to reinforce the values and responsibilities that come with representing Bhutan on the international stage.

During the meeting, the President conveyed his confidence in the team and reiterated the unwavering belief and support that the Bhutan Cricket Council Board and management have in the players. He encouraged the squad to back themselves, embrace the opportunity ahead, and represent the nation with commitment, discipline, and pride.

Head Coach Souvik Das addressed the players on the honour and responsibility of wearing the Bhutan jersey, emphasizing the pride, character, and professionalism required when representing the country at the highest level. The Chief Executive Officer also shared his words of encouragement, highlighting the importance of unity, dedication, and making the most of the opportunity to compete on the regional stage.

The Bhutan Cricket Council Board management also extended its congratulations to newly appointed Captain Ranjung Mikyo Dorji and Vice-Captain Gakul Kumar Ghalley. The management expressed its confidence in the leadership duo and wished them success as they lead the national team at the ACC Men’s Challenger Cup 2026 in Singapore.

As the team prepares to depart for Singapore, the players carry with them not only months of preparation and hard work but also the trust, belief, and support of the entire Bhutan cricket family.
