Bhutan Set for ACC Women’s Premier Cup 2026 in Malaysia
Bhutan Women’s National Cricket Team is set to compete in the ACC Women’s Premier Cup 2026, scheduled to take place in Malaysia from 1st to 13th June 2026. Hosted by the Malaysian Cricket Association under the auspices of the Asian Cricket Council, the tournament will bring together emerging women’s cricket nations from across Asia, providing an important platform for regional competition and continued development of the women’s game.
Bhutan has been drawn in Group D alongside Nepal, Hong Kong, China and Qatar, with all of Bhutan’s group stage matches scheduled to be played at KTJ Oval. The national side will open its campaign against Hong Kong, China on 3rd June before facing Nepal on 4th June and Qatar on 6th June.

- 3rd June – Bhutan vs Hong Kong, China | 2:00 PM | KTJ Oval
- 4th June – Bhutan vs Nepal | 9:30 AM | KTJ Oval
- 6th June – Bhutan vs Qatar | 9:30 AM | KTJ Oval
The tournament represents another important milestone in the continued growth of women’s cricket in Bhutan. In recent years, the national women’s team has steadily gained international exposure through regional tournaments and bilateral series, contributing to the development of player experience, confidence, and competitiveness at the international level.
Bhutan will travel with an 18-member touring contingent consisting of 14 players and 4 team officials.
Participation in the ACC Women’s Premier Cup 2026 is expected to provide valuable experience for the squad while further strengthening Bhutan’s presence within the regional cricketing landscape.
